Ignas Maldus

Maldus's art involves perceiving everyday objects, whether beautiful or mundane and capturing them through photography. He is passionate about theatre and integrates this passion into his photographic work, creating single-image plays that come to life through long exposure photography, various light flashes, and vivid colours.

His work seeks to convey emotions and stories, often without the need for human subjects, relying on the ambience and surroundings to tell the tale. Ignas Maldus's photography showcases his sensitivity and insatiable curiosity for the world, from the streets of New York and Beijing to deserts in Morocco and Pakistan, mountains in India and South Africa, and ghost towns in various countries.

Through his work, he captures the essence and emotions of his journeys, while his heart remains dedicated to his family. Love remains a central theme in his art.
