Our beginning

It all began long before DESIGNSET took its name. In 1933, the grandfather of our founder and CEO, Aidas Stanionis, entered the world of carpentry — working in a small workshop producing elaborate pieces of furniture that stood apart from their time. As a child, Aidas would visit the atelier frequently, observing how raw wood was transformed into form: the careful cutting of joints, the chiselling of details, the quiet discipline of the craft — in its subtlety and perfectionism. Those early experiences shaped a way of thinking and working — an attention to detail, a respect for material, and a belief that true luxury reveals itself over time. These principles continue to guide every decision we make today. Over time, this foundation evolved into a broader practice — from showrooms and brand representation to architecture, interior design, and development, across more than 120 projects in 18 countries. Today, on the Côte d’Azur, DESIGNSET brings this story to a new scale — an integrated, curated design platform where vision, expertise, and execution come together. Rooted in the Riviera and shaped for a global clientele, we offer a more complete, curated, and elevated approach to contemporary living.

Founders

Aidas Stanionis is the founder and CEO of DESIGNSET. With more than 25 years of experience in premium interior design, distribution, and brand building, he has developed a body of work spanning the Baltics, France, Italy, Switzerland, the UAE, Spain, and broader European consulting. Over the years, he has founded and developed a number of companies and platforms, including Studio Casa, Imagehouse, Minotti Cannes, DESIGNSET, and DOMUMgroup. Greta Žemaitytė, co-founder and Creative Director, is a key force behind the creative direction and design language of the platform. With nearly two decades of experience in high-end residential and hospitality interiors, her work forms the foundation of DESIGNSET’s conceptual and scenographic approach. She brings a refined sensitivity to atmosphere, composing spaces as immersive, luxurious scenographies where design, material, and emotion come together. Her role connects vision with execution, guiding projects from concept to completion.
